Those of us who have worked retail....we know we have accidents. What's your worst?

- One of my vendors was building a display of Franzia Wine Boxes. Well, he got a little too aggressive with the box cutter. Display is up. All of a sudden, a lake starts forming on the floor. Yep, he cut right through a few boxes, into the bags...and with adding more weight, you guessed it.....And you know the midnight cleaning crew was not happy since they had just washed and waxed.

- Me and another guy....the liquor just came in after our shift, Grocery Team put the stuff on pallets, then pushed the pallets into the Liquor Cage. Next day we come in....we can't move so we have to get the pallets out. They barely clear the entrance. Sure enough....2 stacks fall. You bet we had one heck of a mess to clean up. And we both had to keep going to the Receiving Doors for actual air. That much liquor = buzz from the fumes. Atleast LP reviewed the tape and determined, there was not much we could do. Grocery should have shrink wrapped it before moving it.

- I came in one morning to find someone had abandoned a carton of ice cream in one of my coolers. And it sat all night. And melted. Through the carton. Sad thing is, the ice cream freezer was 8 feet away. I had "fun" having to not only clean the cooler, but wipe off bottles of wine coolers that were soaked, find which packagings were too soggy to sell. Ick.

- Someone went to get a pallet of Pepsi off a pallet rack. And didn't get the forks into the pallet all the way. Of course you know a lot of cases/cans exploded.
