    Default Can I Be Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Nevada
ive been looking up nevada emancipation laws. but i can only find one that gives the legal age. i thought that i would originally would have to wait until i was 16 yrs. old. but i found one site that said that in Nevada you only have to be atleast 14 years old.
im 14 and i cant stand living at home anymore. my mom is a complete liar, backstabber, and she's had problems with drugs. her boyfriend is even worse! he was once in prison for selling and probably doing drugs. and a couple years back he physically abused me. he left many bruises and its on file. my mom is unemlpoyed and cant take care of me so she depends on her boyfriend. they are constantly fighting and police are called to our house all the time. cps has been over once but myself and my younger siblings were told to lie and say everything was fine. im at my grandmas right now. trying to convince my mom to let me stay. but she wont. emancipation seems like my only other option. can i do it? if i can please...any advice? it would sure help! thank you.

(i spelled emancipated wrong in the title sorry)

How much do you earn per month?

How much is your rent? Utilities? Food?

What is your GPA while you're working to support yourself?

Your grandmother can file for guardianship of you.

i've tried asking my mom to sign guardianship papers, but she refuses. and my grandma doesnt want that kind of responsibility. i've been at my grandmas for a little bit. but im supposed to go back to my moms soon because school starts. the only problem is her boyfriend. its so uncomfortable at his house (where i live) it doesnt feel like home. is emancipation the only other option? i know theres adoption and things like that, but i wouldnt want to live in a house full of strangers. i pretty much feel like thats how i live now.

You've yet to tell us anything related to whether or not you're even a remote candidate for emancipation.

How much do you earn? What is your history of being financially self-supporting? What is your GPA?

Emancipation is ALL about you proving to a court that you and ONLY YOU can totally support yourself financially.

AND the minimum age to be emancipated in Nevada IS 16. There is only one state that will even consider emancipating a 14 year old; that state is not Nevada; and even in that state to be emancipated at 14 you need to be either a nationally known sports figure or spend your spare time as an extra in the Harry Potter movies.

So emancipation is not an option.

I don't think even an extra would make enough money to be emancipated. You'd actually have to be starring in the movie series.
