Default Can My Wife Qualify for Medicaid if She is a Full-Time Student

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Colorado
Hello all, I am wondering if anyone can help me? My fiance is about three months pregnant now and we need to get her to the doctor. I recently started a job from being out of work for two months and we are broke! My new job offers health insurance but it doesnt kick in for 90 days and it is super expensive... Also, my fiance is a full-time student and is about to start up her senior year in college here in a few weeks! Like I was saying before, we really need to get her to the doctor and start with the required appointments but dont have the option of doing so with limited funds. I am hearing from different people that she cannot qualify for medicaid if she is a full-time college student... is this true? how could that be possible? Is there anyway around this? Also, I am hearing that if I got a insurance policy of my own, it would not cover this pregnancy because it is a pre-existing issue... what do I do? thank you in advance for any advice, Im really in a jamb here and I dont know what to do

She can check with your state's division of insurance, but I suspect she should start by looking at CHP+. Birthing centers and OB/GYN doctors and clinics often have information about such programs.

She can also explore whether insurance is available through her school, and if so on what terms.
