Default Can a Married Person File Bankruptcy Alone, or is Spouse Included

I live in California. I am married. I have several credit cards that are ONLY IN MY NAME that total over $15,000 and I'm out of work, no unemployment, SDI, in other words... NO INCOME! Can I file Chapter 7 by myself without having to put my wife on it and ruin her credit? She doesn't have the extra income to help me out. Any information would greatly be appreciated!!!!!

Yeah I agree also both of you can file individually, as long as you had both your bankruptcy attorneys everything will be fine and settle.
