Although I can't speak to your specific jurisdiction, on the whole that's unusual. Domestic violence charges are usually pretty routine, so I don't know the basis for the delay in any charging decision or action.

    Interesting.

Yah, the whole thing is just bizaree, I asked a clerk what time his arraignment was and they told me 1:30 in 7a, so I go up there and watch for him. He comes in but never comes to the floor for his arraignment.

At 1:37 I go back to the clerk and ask and they said they have no new charges on him and obviously I was mistaken. I said "I saw him, with my own two eyes, walk into this courthouse, I want to know what's going on with this case." She goes "are you sure it was him?" And it's like, "I have known this man for 5 years, I know every inch of his body, I've cut his damn hair. I know it was him, he was wearing his work clothes." She goes, "well, we have no new charges on him."

I go to another clerk and she says "yes, he was here and showed us his bond slip. We sent him home."

I'm very concerned, at this point, that they are going to try to bring more charges against him. Including leaving the scene, dui, and a felony for breaking my phone by kicking it into the street, but I don't understand why they wouldn't have just brought all those charges at once.

    I'm so confused.

I have a question with regards to the No Contact order.

In the event that we both show up to the same store at the exact same time. Know eachother are there, who should leave? Me or him? I was assuming him, but wasn't sure.

This actually happened and the police showed up to arrest a shoplifter and I was very nearvous that he would get arrested for being in the same store as me. He then walked across the concourse when he saw the door I left out of and walked passed me and held out his hand (i still haven't figured out why) He knew I was there because I screamed "It's F-ing J, Holy S" when he pulled in and he turned and stared at me.

I don't know, I just don't want him to get in trouble.

The person who is subject to the order would have to leave to avoid possible arrest. He is under the court restrictions, not you.
