    Default State Insurance Fraud

    California

My ex and I have a five year old daughter together. It is a 50/50 case all the way around. My ex lives with his girlfriend and her four year old daughter. He has a job and brings home all the money. He then turns around and gives his girlfriend about a 1,000.00 a month that is supposedly for child care so she can get state insurance for her daughter. Is there anything wrong with this?

If the mother is not being truthful about her living arrangement and household income in order to get public assistance to which she is not entitled, then yes.
