    Default Mother at age 17

My nepew is 17 , soon to be 18, his girlfriend is 16, soon to be 17 and with child. My nepew is not allowed to see his girlfriend much because of her parents. He wants to be a part of his childs life and a part of his girlfriends life. His girlfriend wants the same thing. My question is, after she has her child at age 17, can she legally move out of her parents home since she will be a parent herself? Or does she still have to go through laywers to get emancipated?

Becoming a parent does not result in automatic emancipation. Her ability to seek emancipation will depend upon the laws of her state of residence.
