I work in the IT field (computer programming, web programming etc).

Recently I went to an interview, the interview(aka. MGR OF APPLICATIONS SUPPORT) basically asked me about my work history and I responded with complete thorough responses. In the Interview the CIO was also in attendance listening to my responses. As the interview was near to the completion and everything was going great, the CIO basically told me that I needed to work on my English. Basically his comments threw me off, didn't understand what he meant by his response, and he simply asks me again that my English needed help. I knew where he was taking it with his remark, and I replied back with "I didn't major in college as an English Major". Then after that he was talking about how important technology is etc, etc, etc. The interviewer (MGR OF APPLICATIONS SUPPORT) knew that I was stunned and told me that, he tells it, like he sees it. I was so upset and stunned from the CIO comments, that I just wanted to leave immediately but kept my composure. I said my good- bye's and handshakes, the interviewer (MGR OF APPLICATIONS SUPPORT) which he showed me out the building, was trying to comfort me as I left the building.

I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to tell me that, I spoke very clearly and concise in all of my interviews. I am of Hispanic descent, and don't have an accent and can talk an intelligent conversation, I believe that this individual was simply trying to degrade me because of Hispanic descent.

I just want to know if I have a case based on his Discriminatory comments.
