    Default Civil Demand Letter

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York (Manhattan)

I was caught shoplifting in March at TJ Maxx, and the store took down my addres and other information. I went to court, and completed my community service two months ago. I have yet to recieve my civil demand letter or any contact from the store. I tried to call the store and ask for my civil demand letter or if I could get a number for whom I should call about this inquiry, but they refused to disclose any information.

Should I be worried? Is there anything else I should be doing?

Who did you talk to? I would say call the store again and specifically ask for Loss Prevention Manager.
