Arrow Could CPS Try and Take Away Child Even if She Moved

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Virginia & Hawaii

I have a couple of questions.

    So the story is:

My girlfriend's mother has been seeing my GF (let's just call her Jilll) father. Her father molested Jill & her other 4 sisters when she was young, around 12 years of age. He got out of jail 2 years ago, and for the last recent year the mother has been seeing him, which he wasn't suppose too cause it was on his parole.

I guess he told someone and that somebody called CPS on the mother. There are only her other son living there now which is 16. They're both are gonna go into a review to be invested by CPS.

First question: Is it likely that the son will go into custody?

Jill has moved with her sister in Virginia, and she just found out about the news a couple of hours ago. She's worried that since she was living there knowing that he was seeing & staying at her mothers place before she moved, that they will try and go after her & my son which is only 1 year and a couple months old for putting him 'in danger'

Second question: Will they try and go after her & my son for 'putting him in danger'?

She want's to go back to Hawaii and get a job there to help the family out since the father was paying the rent and he is going back to jail for breaking his parole.

Third: Should it be a good idea to go back to Hawaii to help the family, and will this be more of a chance for the CPS to take away her & my son?

You talk about your girlfriend's mother, then later say "Will they try and go after her & my son"? Can you try to be consistent about who you are, so that your question makes sense?

If your husband molested your children, went to prison, and you took up with him again knowing his history and that he was in violation of his parole, I suspect that CPS won't be particularly sympathetic to you. If you're also trying to scurry your daughter out of the continental U.S., it makes you look all the more guilty.

Sounds like what he was trying to say is that his gf's dad was convicted of molestation, and he has a child with the gf, that he is now concerned about due to the circumstances. The gf is the one that wants to relocate to HI in order to help support the family, but is worried about the consequences of knowing what was going on and not 'protecting' her young son.

    Did I read something wrong?

    That's how I read it.

CPS can investigate, but I cannot see them removing your son OP since he is not in any danger at all.
