    Question Getting Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Indiana.
I'm 16 years old and I live with my mother, step dad, and younger sister. My father lives 12 hours away. My mother has always treated me bad. She fights and yells all the time with me and has pulled my hair, smacked, and hit me. She says I'm fat and have bad acne. I weight 125 pounds and in 5'6. Also I'm told I look pregnant and have no friends. She haS paid for my gas one time in the past 3 months, I've purchased all my clothes, shoes, and food. My older brother had everything handed to him until the day he moved out. I want to be emancipated and live on my own to escape her. I have a job and someone to move in with. Do you think it's possible?

    Default Re: Getting Emancipated

No. I don't think it's possible. And if you read all the hundreds of other posts about emancipation on these forums, you'll know why.
