Unhappy Reckless driving while on parole in Texas

Last Sunday, my boyfriend went to jail on a reckless driving charge. My brakes on the car completely locked up and he could not stop. He swerved to miss another car that was at a stop sign and skidded through the 3 way intersection before the car hit a brick fence and iron gate. We have insurance and it is going to cover the damage on both the car and the fence/gate. He is currently on parole for a 5 year sentence and has been for the past 18 months. He has until 3/16/08 before he is completely off. Will his parole be revoked? There has not been a blue warrant filed and it's already been a week. Wouldn't have one been filed by now if they were going to issue one? I'm scared of what might happen not by Lubbock county but by his parole. He is still in jail and has been appointed an attorney. If he enters a change of plea to guilty, will they be more likely to revoke his parole? The kicker about it is that he was not speeding and was not disobeying any laws by causing danger to anyone but himself and the car at the intersection. He does have a bond of $1,500 but no one wants to pursue it due to the parole. What should or can I do? I've already talked to his parole officer but he's not for sure on anything. Should I talk to his court appointed attorney? Any advice anyone?

Unfortunately, your boyfriend's parole officer is the person who can give you the most certain answer as to what will happen, and it sounds like he either hasn't made up his mind or doesn't want to tell you his intentions.

What if his parole officer has told me he is on his side due to the fact that he has done good until this minor mishap?

Then you (and he) can hope that the parole officer decides not to pursue a parole violation.
