California Emancipation Laws

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of:California

I'm 16 and will be turning 17 with in the next two months. I would like to know if there is a way for me to get emancipated with out going through the courts. See my "home life", isn't terrible, but I’m not happy where I am. My mom is going crazy, she is sick all the time and angry. No, she doesn't hit or abuse me, but I’m depressed all the time. My mother is very religious, and it has changed who she is, as a person. She makes me go to the meetings, even though I don’t believe in what I’m hearing. I've tried to talk to her about it, but she just gets angry with me. I’ve been looking for a job, and many places with in my area, have said they would take me in the up coming school year. I have friends who are willing to let me stay with them until I have enough money to rent something. I am home schooled right now, and plan on graduating early. I have really thought about applying for my GED, but don't think that is the best idea for me. I know my reasons, well aren't the worst, but I’m depressed. I just don't feel like my home, is my home anymore. I think I can do better on my own, or at least give it a shot. I understand that if I leave her, there may not ever be a way to go back. Still I need to try, because I’m scared, and well, I just need to try. Anyways, thank you for your time, it would be extremely nice of you if you helped me out.

Nothing that you have posted suggests that you are a candidate for emancipation.

You have to go through the courts.

No court in the country will emancipate you.

You'll find that emancipation is not even remotely an option.
