Default Noise Ordinance Law from Stereo in South Carolina

I live in the surrounding area of myrtle beach. Last night i was on a busy busy street where all the people are, its like an equivalent of the strip at vegas except not nearly as big. Anyways it was like midnight time or so. And these two cops on bikes stopped out of everyone me for my system. People are EVERYWHERE with systems on the boulevard and making lots of noise much louder then my system was, they just so happened to ride in front of my car and cherry pick me. But anyways im curious to know what south carolina noise laws are. I am contesting this ticket and im trying to get prepared for it. So any advice is appreciated. And I did have a person with me which i know will come to court with me to help me over the cops word

Couldn't find much under the South Carolina State Motor Vehicle Codes but I did find a couple of ordinances prohibiting "excessive noise" under Myrtle Beach's municipal code. Not sure which one of these (if any you were cited under):

ARTICLE IV. OFFENSES AGAINST THE PUBLIC PEACE ~ Section 14-62. Noise.

And I also found one that is more specific to motor vehicles:

Chapter 12 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC ~ Section 12-14. Unnecessary use of horns; use of sirens, loudspeakers, etc., restricted; excessive noise prohibited.
