    Default Criminal Damaging

    My question involves criminal law for the state:Ohio. Im married,I cought my Husband with another woman,Me and the another woman got into a fight,I left and went out side and busted his window out, he went to the police station and pressed chargers on me,now i have a warrent out on me.Now we are back together living in the same home and so to marriage counseling.He went to drop the chargers and now its to late. If i turn my self in will i have to say in jail? its friday Im scared i might have to stay in over the weekend what should I do? what is the out come of this case? please help

    Yes, if you turn yourself in on a Friday, you risk sitting in jail until a Monday morning arraignment. So, don't turn yourself in until Monday morning, and AFTER you've spoken with a local criminal defense attorney. Reality is that police don't have the time, manpower, or inclination to go LOOKING for people with misdemeanor warrants on them. Stay out of trouble and out of contact with police over the weekend and you shouldn't have any problem.

    Here in Ohio the jails are very over crowed, the lady at the desk so sayin they just might resite me,and my Lawyer said that also. Well what ever the out come is please pray for me cause This a leason learned. Next ill shake her hand and say you can have him.
