Default 22 Years Continuously Living in the U.S

My wife has lived in the US for over 22 years and has never left the country since her arrival.

Is thiere still a grandfather clause for people in the situation or does she still have to go through all of the hoops?

The only problem she may have is her resident alien card has no expiration date on it, so it was never renewed. Is this odd or just the way some were done in the 1980's.

The only other information that might be pertinent to this is we were married in South Korea when I was stationed there with the military. We lived there for 2 1/2 years before coming to this country.

    Nope.

She has to go through the same process that all the other illegals have to go through.
