Default Getting Unemployment After a Voluntary Quit

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: ca
i was working at a casino in ca. i voluntary quit 1. because me and my wife have one car and the casino was 35 miles away. 2. my title was bartender server, so new manager was putting me on host position for four days a week after one of the girls had also quit. which means for all the gas i was spending was about breaking even after pay days. 3. casino business was going down big time. i went from making like 70-80 dollars a night to 13-20. 4. i started to get really bad anxiety attacks from working at this job due to customers constantly asking "why dont you guys even have silverware or beerglasses, and so on and so on. it was becoming a ridiculous place to be day in and day out. i have a edd interview on july 29. and want to make sure i dont get denied any tips on a voluntary quit. they are going to ask me these 3 questions.why am i no longer working there,2 what caused me to quit and 3 did i request a leave of absence or discuss this matter with my manager. THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP OUT

Do you have medical evidence of the anxiety attacks?

    Doctor's notes?

Then I'm sorry, but I cannot see you obtaining unemployment benefits from what you've posted here.

I think the casino will object, strongly, and prevail.

Nothing you have written suggests you had reasonable justification for quitting your job.

That's too bad, because that's the only thing that MIGHT have saved you. Even if you had told your supervisor that you were having anxiety attacks, they wouldn't have had to take your word for it.

    I would not be optimistic.

so even if the distance of the job and breaking even with what i made on a day to day basis will still disqualify me for and also the fact there is no public transportation to the area. what if lets say if you dont have a cdl and when you started you did not have one what would they say then

qotsa;440620]so even if the distance of the job
did the job move once you accepted employment?

and breaking even with what i made on a day to day basis will still disqualify me
well, at least you weren't losing.

for and also the fact there is no public transportation to the area.
    not a requirement

what if lets say if you dont have a cdl and when you started you did not have one what would they say then
I would say I have no idea what you are talking about. I presume you are attempting to present an analogy but I have no idea what you are attempting to describe.

what i am trying to say is that there other factors of why i left that job and looking for good cause of leaving my employment. me working there was turning out to be a finacial break even by working there. the distance and not being able to afford another vehicle to get there. and there also is no public transportation to and from. no one i could carpool with either.

    It doesn't change anything.

    Dogmatique is correct.

You didn't like the working conditions, and it was costing you too much to get to and from work (how did you get there before?), so you quit. Although those may be good personal reasons, they are not good enough reasons to quit and get unemployment benefits.

You did get paid the equivalent of minimum wage, didn't you?
