    Default Stop Adoption Proceeding

My question involves grandparents rights in the State of: North Carolina

We are the bio-grandparents, our son recently signed papers to allow the adoption of our grandson which we were not aware of, to get out of paying child support.
So, we understand we have 7 days to revoke this and we will then seek to get visitation of our grandson. How do we properly go about revoking this adoption proceeding?

You speak with an attorney immediately.

You do NOT have 7 days to revoke anything - you have a specific time in which you can file an objection. There is a HUGE difference.

Only the court can revoke something of this nature.
