My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania
Hello, I have a question regarding what degree of misdemeanor a citation of underage drinking is in Pennsylvania. First, I have had 2 underages. The first was when I was 17. I did work to have it expunged so I don't believe it should hold any relevance on my question. My second was when I was 18, I was still in high school and did not have the option of having it expunged. I am 20 years old, they were over 2 years ago, and I am putting a lot of consideration into the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard does not accept anyone with felony chargers, or 1st or 2nd degree misdemeanors. The only thing I understand about misdemeanors is that they come with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and minor degrees. Do these degrees vary from person to person?
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I am close to being 21 and I have been told that upon turning of age, you can recieve expungement of previous underage alcohol convictions. Does this hold any truth?
Thanks, Craig
