    Default Battery

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia

I called 911 on my girlfriend because she hit me with the guitar hero guitar and with her fist, she also took my debit and credit cards out of my wallet. She continued to attack me and even bit my leg, I fought back . When the police arrived we separated but she still had my cards left....well when the police got there they I said nothing about the fight and neither did my g/f but they arrested me because they said they found me to be the primary agressor. My g/f never wrote a statement and they dont have pictures of her because when they went back for more information she was gone. This isnt the first time she has hit me and I even had counseling sessions with my classmates(im a couselor ed major) and its recorded, where I talked about one of th efirst times she hit me. Is it likely that Im going to be convicted of this battery charge?

We can't answer that. Cases are handled on an individual basis, and require the full facts.

You'd do well to speak with an attorney.
