Post Misdemeanor Summons for Traffic Violations

My question involves traffic court in the State of: CT
I have 2 previous speeding tickets, one on July 16, 2007 and one on Nov. 25, 2009 and have been to driving reeducation. On July 10, 2010 I received a misdemeanor summons 14-299 for cutting through a gas station to avoid a red light and then a 14-223(a) for pulling into my street (right around the corner from where the cop pulled me over) instead on stopping on the main road. I went to court and they wanted to fine me $200, which I have not paid yet, (on thursday) because non-one can tell me what points I will get on my license and whether I will lose my license. Please help as the prosecutor told me to get a lawyer and it is too expensive.
    thanks

The DMV website offers this document describing the point system. Both 14-223(a) (Disobeying orders of officer) and 14-299 (Failure to obey traffic control signal light) are described as two point offenses.
