My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Federal
We included our home in our federal Chapter 7 bankruptcy which was fairly recently discharged. We have not lived there for well over a year. We are still receiving foreclosure notices from the lender. I was told to ignore them, that the property still has to go through that process to get our name off the deed (??). The loan shows on my credit report as included in bankruptcy. Will it also show a foreclosure? My general question is, are we obligated for any fees after the date of filing or discharge until the trustee sale? I am thinking of home related things such as lawn care, winterizing and such. I was told I have to pay HOA fees from the time of my Ch 7 until the trustee sale, so I know about that. Could there be new leins on the property from these types of things and am I supposed to pay them? I thought the Ch 7 took care of the home. Really confused. Thank you.
