Default Timeframe for Filing for a Trial de Novo After TBWD

Court is Riverside Ca: After not receiving the results of the TBWD for 30 days, citation is for 22349vc, I called Riverside Superior court (Hemet) and was told I was found guilty on June 12th. However they do not show notice was ever mailed to me stating that the citation had been decided on?

I had planned on following-up and requesting a TDN (if found guilty), however the clerk told me on the phone I am not eligible now? She stated it is because I am past the 20 day mark. However, if I was never mailed the results would the 20 day time-frame start calculating? Shouldn't I have 20 days after they mailed me notice that I was found guilty? I would have followed up sooner had I known the court would make a decision on the exact date my TBDW was due (which I found hard to believe). What can I do to get a TDN at this point?
