I was pulled over the other day for supposedly not wearing my seat belt. The officer in the car was tailing me for a while. My car has pretty dark tint, not quite up to the limit, and he probably couldn't tell I was wearing one. Then, we reached some open stretch of road and a person, with no marking or badge or uniform, walked into the middle of the street and stopped traffic. He stood there for a while and then the officer in the car behind me pulled me over.
He ticketed me for not wearing a seat belt with a big grin.
I contested. The date is July 15. I think i was to file a continence. The only thing I can see wrong with the ticket is that he didn't date it. Under "date issued" above the signature there is nothing; it is completely blank. Any thoughts?
