Default My Landlord is Breaking the Lease He Upholds to His Tenants

Sorry for the long book ahead of time...

    I live in Oklahoma.
I woke up this morning to an orange notice-to-tow sticker, from my apt complex, stating my tags are out, and my vehicle will be towed within 24 hrs. So this, is true. My registration expired end of june. I have applied for a temporary tag until a new title can be issued for my car. Obviously I won't be leaving my car in their lot tonight.

So, my real problem here is that my car was the only one with a sticker. The car that parks next to mine is under the same situation (tags expired, June also) and they don't have a sticker.
My lease also says that there are to be no mechanical repairs on our lot. So, there's an oldmobile parked behind mine, very obviously inoperable, and has been being worked on sporadically.
So when I call the guy about why my car is the only stickered car.. He tells me that those cars were not parked here at 10am when mine was. The oldsmobile hasn't moved in weeks(!!) Okay...... Well they are parked there now, and are tenants, I say to him. Why no sticker?

I asked the man why he is upholding one part of his lease, but not the paragraph before that (being the inoperable cars on the lot, and repair work done on the lot). He tells me that that part of the lease is basically unimportant b/c he works on his own truck in the lot.

HA! How can he uphold the violation that pertains to me, but not to himself or my neighbors with the SAME violation??

And when I asked about the tag earlier today, I explained to him that I had applied for a temp tag, but the agency is closed today. I'll have paper proof tomorrow. He said "Well, I'm sorry to hear that, I still have to follow the rules"

So basically, when I called him about the other violations, by the end of it he tells me if I don't like the situation, to move. I said that sounds wonderful. Hung up on him. But yet I'm still bound by a lease that doesn't end til Jan. '11.

Does anybody have some insight on this for me?

Don't let your tags expire next time, and move out when your lease ends.

Those really are your options. You can't force the landlord to excuse you from the rules simply because you're under the impression that he's not enforcing them on anyone else.
