Question G4 Applicant Married to a U.S. Citizen

I will be applying for a G4 visa outside the US, but I am married to a US citizen. Due to a circumstance barring me from obtaining immigration visas (two-year rule, but otherwise always in status), I cannot/do not want to go the immigration route yet, so I need G4 to work for an international organization in DC. Would it be a problem at all to state on the G4 application that I have a US citizen husband? Would it cause any problems with the application? What would be the best thing to do?

    Many thanks in advance!

Do not lie about your marital state.

Are you referring to the 2 year requirement of a J-1?
