    Default Introduction Thread

Hello; I have an interest in HR and law in general. I'm not a lawyer but I've studied and practice HR on a regular basis.

I'll probably stick around as I have many legal questions that come into my head on a regular basis.

I also wish to keep my game up so I'm always 100% with all the labor laws.

Some of my non-legal interests are swimming and reading history / science book.

I also have a BA in Philosophy, which I found has helped me more in the HR field than my HR degree due to critical thinking skills and always questioning policies and procedures.

Hi Steve! Welcome to the 'hood. Make yourself at home.

I'm one of the shy quiet members.

There are an awful lot of very decent helpful contributors at this site and it's moderated quite well. Don't be offended by some of the screennames, like Mr. Knowitall for an example, he truly does know it all and is a bottomless pit of accurate help and info. A LOT of members here are true experts in their fields. This part I'm serious about!

The shy quiet stuff is pure hooey!

Other than that, I like long walks at sunset on the beach, hunting furry critters with large caliber firearms, driving as fast as I can get away with safely, motorsports, and an occasional jungle love session with the wife.

I've twice been accused of being normal and resoundingly disproved the accusations each time!

    Hi Steve.

I am a reformed shoplifter who came to site for help, and decided to volunteer and help others.

Aside from that: I do some work as a Movie Extra, while working to pass the real estate exam (missed it by 4 answers last time!).

Hobbies: Photography. Music (metal rules!). Exercise. Killing people in Mafia Wars - over 2000 iced!

Not to worry - it took me a couple of times to get my private pilots license.

The two reasons for an airplane crash are 1) pilot error and 2) lack of altitude.
