    Default Billed for Lab Tests

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of:new York
I want to the hospital on 8/30/05 and they did some lab work however, they sent the lab work to a non participating lab with my INS co. Now a collertion agency has sent me a bill for $234. For NY has the statue of limitation past for them to collect?

Not positive but I believe the statute of limitations is 6 years. You still have more than a year to go.
