I agree about the "magic date." There is no such thing, and it all depends on your situation. If you did not reaffirm the mortgage in your Chapter 7, the only statements they can send are "for information only." Anything more is a violation of the bankruptcy laws. Plus, you may want to check your credit report to make sure the balance showing as due and owing is $0; even though the foreclosure is apparently ongoing, your personal liability is $0 and that's how it needs to be reflected.
