My question involves an eviction in the state of: Florida
I have a roommate that wishes for me to sign her off the lease agreement so she can move out. She wants to stiff me for the two remaining months of rent (July and August).
I don't want to sign her off the lease because I believe that this would make me liable for all damages in the apartment and clear her of any costs. Is this true?
Can I legally evict her myself from the apartment for non-payment if I don't sign her off the lease?
