Default Threat of Bodily Harm with a Firearm

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada
My different sex partner, whom I lived with for over eleven years, unbeknownst to me was having an affair with my best friend. I went to California to recover from a broken ankle and collapsed lung. Ten days later, I learned he had moved this woman and her two children into my home, and I was told over the phone that If I come back "I will shoot you in the head." He is an ex felon and I know he has a hand gun that he bought from someone. I hadn't seen it the week before I left and asked him about it. He said he threw it away. Things are getting really nasty between the three of us and I'm afraid, as he has been physically violent the entire time we were together. Can I report him as being an ex-felon who possibly has an illegal weapon and that he has threatened me with harm?

You are free to report whatever you want to the police, and they will decide if a crime was committed and if it's appropriate to pursue charges.

When you say "My Home"....whose names are on the lease? Yours? His? Both?

If is just under yours, I would consider getting an Eviction notice; new locks; and sell.

And not to belabor the obvious, but when you choose to hook up with a felon who has a gun, and you KNOW they're a felon and you KNOW they're NOT supposed to be around guns...that needs to be sending up a HUGE red flag that screams....to put it bluntly: "Molly...you in danger, girl".
