State: NY
Recently I came up with a distinctive and yet easy to remember name for a pizza shop that I plan to open up. I already registered a domain name for it but upon further research I found out that a bakery in another state uses a similar trademark but without the apostrophe and letter "S" in the end like mine does. This bakery uses this trademark for breads and rolls that are then sold to end-user consumers in local (to their state) supermarkets. My use for the trademark would be for dine-in, take-out and delivery pizza shop.
I heard or read somewhere that the company that made Domino sugar once sued the Domino's pizza and lost the lawsuit.
Any advice would be appreciated.
