My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
I mistakenly left Whole Foods with a pair of reading glasses on top of my head after spending $67 in the store. Secuity took me into the cafeteria (with all the employees, whom I knew as I spend about $150/week) and made me sign a ton of papers, inlcuding tresspass., & a civil penal code. I was only given a copy of the cival penalty code, and told I couldn't enter the store, and they took a picture of me. The cops did not come and no charges were filed against me. Since then the store mgr. verbally told me I could come back to the store, but I would still get a civil demand letter, which I did for the amount of $500.

Questions:
1. After I pay the $500,will I be put on some sort of database for shoplifters? 2. Can this come up if someone were to do a background check on me?
3. Can it affect my credit score?

I have a clean record, never arrested, & made an honest mistake. I left my reading glasses in the car and was reading the labels off of some supplements I bought and mistakenly put the glasses on top of my head (like I do all time with with my reading glasses). Concerned because l may want a retail job or government job in the future.
