Unhappy False Representation to Obtain Credit

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

I am so confused and have no idea whats going on....... we are all innocent right
Yesterday I was pulled over for no front license plate on my car (its a sports car I think he was just targeting me lol) while running my ID the officer came back and told me I had a warrant for my arrest that was issued on July 09' I had NO CLUE what he was talking about. I literally thought it was a joke long story short I was arrested yesterday worst experience of my entire life. So here's what I know...I am being charged with False Statement to obtain credit. My friend gave me an IPOD touch and a WII and I pawned it...... the false statement is apparently when I said they was mine to the pawnshop, and it was apparently taken from a pawn shop my friend worked at. WHAT the heck do I do now???? Whats going to happen when I go to court? I am so confused have never been in trouble before in my life and I am just freaked out. My bond was 1,000. Why am I just now finding out about this warrant now????? Shouldn't I have been contacted somehow? If I had stolen these items would I have been THAT stupid to use my real name address and social security number? What do I need to do? What will happen in court I mean what should I expect? Do I need an attorney? I have no criminal history.

    Thanks in Advance

It would certainly make sense for you to be working with a lawyer.

Your friend was stupid enough to hand you items he stole from a pawn shop to... pawn? You were stupid enough to lie when pawning the items. So, no, really it would not be a huge surprise that you did this under your own name.

Yes, you need to appear in court as ordered.
