My question involves an eviction in the state of Texas: I was served a eviction notice on 5/8 for non payment of rent for April rent ,which we paid on 5/6 for April and May,went to court the landlord lost because they asked for back rent.Was served on 5/19 with 3 day vacate and served with court papers on 5/26 ,Wentt to court on 6/15 landlord filed for back rent in the amount of 3500.00 which was really late fees supposely but claim rent had not been paid since Dec 2009 and thru March 2010,When the landlord excepted the rent they said we could pay the late fees out each month ,when we to court the judge said that we would have to move and then decided to extend time to reappear because the landlord himself did not show up .I would like to know if we can be evicted after paying rent and the landlord excepted it as rent ?
