My question involves criminal law for the state of: California and Colorado.

I was recently in Colorado on a trip. I am 18, and was drinking, and an officer saw me on the street and gave me a breathalyzer, and thus wrote me an MIP. I am going to go to colorado for the court date and try to get it off my record. I am wondering though, if I fail to get it off my record, what are the consequences for me in California? Will they suspend my license? Will my insurance go up? Help!

Also, the officer that wrote the ticket later showed up to where my friends and I were outside of a local venue. He asked if I had continued drinking, to which I replied Yes, and told everyone I was with I got an MIP (is that not a breach of confidentiality?), and then told me to avoid him taking me to jail, I was to finish the beer that was in my 28 year old friend's hand. I declined, and he said he would take me to jail then, so I said ok and drank it. He then high-fived me and drove away. I feel as though that ENTIRE situation was illegal, and have around 13 witnesses to testify for that. Should I bring that up at all when trying to convince the court to drop the charges?
