    Default Fiancée illegally here

    I just found out that my girlfriend used someone else passport to come here, We are going to get married soon, she is pregnant with my son, when she has the baby, is there a chance that she could be denied citizenship, and what steps could I take to insure that doesnt happen

    Hope for the best with the new immigration bill? She can't adjust her status if she didn't enter the country legally. You may wish to consult an immigration lawyer.

    dude, what the hell are you talking about? She CAN adjust, it's only going to take more money and she'll probably have to leave the country for a year. I know because it happened to someone I know who is NOW a Permanent Resident.

    If you have no status to adjust, you can't adjust your status. You have to have status to adjust. It's pretty simple. Perhaps your friend was in a different situation, and thus for example was able to gain asylum or refugee status.

    But it would be nice if you would find out what you are talking about before you come into a forum acting like a rude child.
