Default Will a Putative Father Be Listed As Father on the Birth Certificate

From Tennessee: Can the unborn babies mother or myself do anything proactively to get my name on the birth certificate from day one. She was going through a divorce when we conceived but will still be married when we deliver. Husband wants not part of baby and is not even going to be at delivery. I will be. He would sign a declination of parternity right now.

Default Re: Will I Be Listed As Father on Birth Cert

Did we not cover this a few days ago?? Your baby mama is still married, which means that husband is the 'presumed' father, and although that is rebuttable, will still require a court appearance to establish parentage, custody/visitation and child support.
