My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: TX
I took my handicapped uncle to a community college to talk to an advisor. I parked in a handicap spot because he has a placard and it was pouring down raining outside. While I was waiting on him to come out the campus police blocked in my car and asked for the placard and my drivers license and said that he would wait 10 minutes for my uncle to come out or else he would issue me a citation. The officer waited a few minutes then gave me a ticket and said that my uncle would have to come find him tomorrow to get his handicap placard back. My uncle is clearly handicapped and can not drive and I think that it is ridiculous someone has to take him on a scavenger hunt tomorrow to find an officer that didn't feel like waiting on him to come out of a building.
