Hello,
Last wednesday I went to give in my 2 week notice to my employer. My employer got infuriated with me, and started yelling and cursing very loud. While I was sitting down he took my shoulders and threw me on the floor. I left the work place crying and screaming. I went to the police station and they said they would not be able to arrest him on assault charges because there was no witness. The police said if there is medical proof they would be willing to arrest him. I went to the hospital that night and got my Xray done. The Xray turned out to be negative. I still have severe pain in my back from the fall. I have an MRI scheduled, and the police said if the MRI is positive they will be willing to arrest my employer. I am really upset that he had the nerve to put his hands on me, and I really want to press charges. I was just wondering what else someone in my position can do? If the MRI is negative then the police will not arrest him? Is there anything I can do if I want to press charges on my employer?
Thank you,
Kelly
