Hi ! My name is George. I thought i wanted to be an engineer, got a degree, but then i had a change of heart. Now i want to be a lawyer.
I fancy myself an inventor so I figured i should go with patent law. Problem is i am not so sure i want to stay living in USA ( i was born in USSR ). Additionally since i lived through the collapse of the USSR while in USSR i cannot be too sure that the same won't happen here in the near future.
If i invest all the time, money and effort in this endeavor i want to be sure that the intellectual capital i accumulate won't suddenly become irrelevant one day if **** hits the fan.
In other words - if either USA disappears one day or if i am forced / choose to leave USA one day to what extent will my intellectual capital as a patent law professional will be convertible in other parts of the world - say Iceland ? or Norway ? or Switzerland ? etc.
thanks in advance ! it's really important for me.
