Question Is "Attempted" Resisting and Obstructing a Felony

My question involves criminal records for the state of: Michigan

I have a conviction of 'attempting' to resist and obstruct an officer. Is this the same as MCL 750.479 resisting and obstructing? I need to know if so because MCL 750.479 is a felony and I need to try to get it expunged to improve job opportunities. Also will an OUIL from 1997 still be on my record as you can only expunge if you have one conviction?
