Unhappy I Want to Leave - How Do I Get Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Kentucky.

I've lived with my dad for 8 years and I want to leave him and go live with my mom, well, i recently met this guy and I don't want to leave him now and move to arkansas with my mom. I care about him way too much. I want to get emancipated and go live with my boyfriend. His mom said that I could live with them if i wanted to because my dad is just a terrible person to me.

he calls me fat for no reason, he grounded me for two years in early highschool for having one F, and anything i do or don't do, I instantly get grounded. He plays with my emotions and plays mind games with me. He makes me feel bad about myself for no reason.

my mom wont let me have my boyfriend come with me to arkansas for us both to live with her. So, i told my mom i didnt want to live with her.

How do i tell my dad I want to get emancipated and what for reason? I don't want to deal with him anymore. My older sister left for the same reason, and I want to leave too but I'm not just going to leave my boyfriend like that.

    Help me.

You can not seek emancipation if you are planning to move in with your BF's mom and have her care for you. Emancipation menas that you are supporting yourself. In other words, you need to have a job and be able to afford a place to live, buy your own food, cover your health insurance etc.

What you need to discuss with your parents is the possibility of granting your BF's mom a temporary guradianship.

I want to get emancipated and go live with my boyfriend.

That is not going to happen. No judge on God's green earth is EVER going to emancipate a minor so that she can live with her boyfriend. Get the idea out of your head right now. This is a no-starter.

His mom said that I could live with them if i wanted to because my dad is just a terrible person to me.

Doesn't matter what his mom says. What matters is what your parents say.

he calls me fat for no reason, he grounded me for two years in early highschool for having one F, and anything i do or don't do, I instantly get grounded. He plays with my emotions and plays mind games with me. He makes me feel bad about myself for no reason.

That's a shame but none of these are valid reasons for emancipation.

my mom wont let me have my boyfriend come with me to arkansas for us both to live with her. So, i told my mom i didnt want to live with her.

It's not going to be your choice. If your mother has custody transferred to her, you'll be living with her whether you want to or not. You will NOT be allowed to bring your boyfriend with you. Read my first statement.

How do i tell my dad I want to get emancipated and what for reason?

Don't waste your time. Even if your father consented, you don't meet the requirements for emancipation. You're not going to be emancipated.
