Default How to Divorce or Emancipate From My Sister

I don't like my older sister and the way she deal with things. She is doing something illegal and I afraid that I will have trouble in the future. We used to live in same apartment until our 20s and I move out of state. I like to "legally" file a legal document to state that she is not my sister anymore. I am not sure if this is called emancipate or "divorce"? Like how husband and wife legally separate? Can anyone point me to the right direction? If I am going to consult a lawyer, what word I should use? Is there such a thing that I can do or if this such things doesn't exist? I live in California and she lives in Midwest now. Only my father still alive now and both my sister and I are in our 40s. If you need more background information, I will provide.
    Thank you in advance.

You cannot divorce someone you're not married to, and you cannot be emancipated from anyone who is not your parent or legal guardian.

If you don't like your sister, simply don't have contact with her.

Sorry, I have one more question:
If I emancipate from my father, will this means my sister is not my sister anymore?

You are already legally emancipated from your father. That happened when you became a legal adult.

Your sister will always be your sister unless another adult adopts either you or her (an adult adoption).
