I am conducting legal research for the state of: FL
I was in Miami Beach and paid for valet parking. I ask to see where is it that they park the car, just to make sure that my car was going to be parked in safe area. The valet parker told me that they had a garage which they use to park cars. I proceed to pay the gentlemen as he took my car. When I went to pick up my car 3 hours later the valet parker told me that there was a problem with my car, somebody had broken into my car and stolen my aftermarket GPS/Radio. they had janked out my dashboard panel and had enough time to unscrew everything so the radio wont be damage, the funny thing was that there was not any sign of a force entry. I called the police to make a police report, and the cops told since there was no signs of a force entery they needed the crime scene unit to finger print my car to see if there was any new finger prints. crime scene officer told me that there is nothing they can do due to the material my dash board is made of, they also told there is only two ways the could of stolen my radio, 1- inside job 2- they left my door open. So my question is who is responsible for my radio? and can i sue the valet parking company
