    Default Lease Change in Michigan

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Michigan

My two friends and I signed a lease for aug 2010. Since we have decided not to move there for finical reason. We payed the 99$ deposit fee. The apartment complex had a waiting list and have since already leased our apartment as they have told me. They said that we have to pay an additional $150 a person due to a subleasing fee. Do we still have to pay that since they leased the apt already?

subleasing? it sounds like your lease has not been terminated. You need to find out.

Other than that, refer to the lease you did sign as to any applicable termination fees you may be liable for.
