Default How to Qualify for Unemployment in Kentucky

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Kentucky

I was just terminated from a position I held from March 24 until April 12 because I was not a "good fit". Do I qualify for unemployment at all through the job I had before this one? What options do I have? I am a single female living on my own... Thank you!

We do not have anything like enough information to say if you will qualify for UI. However, since the only opinion that counts is that of your state's unemployment office, it doesn't matter. Go ahead and apply. It does not cost anything except a little time and perhaps a postage stamp and there is no penalty for being wrong. If you apply, you might get benefits and you might not. If you don't apply, you definitely won't. And if you apply and are turned down, you're no worse off than if you never applied in the first place.

Thanks. I had worked two Saturdays for him previously in the same month that I was hiref full-time, do those count even though I accepted a full-time position later?

ALL of your wages in the base period count.

Look, it's not what you worked for this employer or that employer. It's how much you earned, total, in the base period. You will not be drawing from one employer or the other, you will be drawing based on your total earnings from all employers in the base period. The UI board will figure out who gets charged what - that's not your problem.
