Exclamation Ohio Alcohol Sale to a Minor

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio

My husband came home last night and gave me a paper saying he got busted selling alcohol to a minor. (he just didn't card her because she looked older than 35.)

well he has no criminal history at all (not even a traffic ticket). and i know the max penalty is 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine.

but what are the chances of that happening?
I'm mainly worried about jail time because we have a 8 month old and i'm 20 weeks pregnant.

He knows he did wrong and he isnt going to deny it at all (he's going to plea guilty)

does anyone have any help for us??

He probably just get a fine and maybe probabtion,it's normal to plead not guitly at first b.c sometimes they can reduce the charge or offer a diversion program to avoid a conviction.
