Yes, that is my hope. Do you have any advice on how to stop the default? I'm under the impression that I have to file some sort of response, but I don't know exactly how to respond. I've never been in this situation before.
The way you respond is you file a Defendant's Answer and address each of the allegations listed in the Complaint.

If you were sued in an AZ Justice Court, the Defendant's Answer is a section on the Complaint form:

If you got something different you'll have to say what it is.

If you don't know what you got because you didn't go to the courthouse to get copies of the case file like I suggested earlier, then I don't know what to tell you.
