Default Running a Red Light but No Traffic Signal for My Lane

My question involves a traffic ticket from the mighty state of: Florida

I received citation for running a red light. My vehicle was captured on camera making a right hand turn at an intersection, and I did not come to a complete stop. My question is this: I was in a right turn only lane and there was not a traffic signal for this lane. There was a traffic signal for lane adjacent to me. Do this still constitute running a red light if there was not traffic signal for my lane? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Absent multiple traffic signals, one traffic signal covers all the lanes in that direction. Did you think someone climbed up and stole a few the night before?

You have to stop at red lights. The fact that there's not a light specific to your lane doesn't make the light you are facing any less red.

Yes, I understand that you have to stop at red lights. Please lose the sarcasm, I believe my question is legitimate, and I expect a legitimate answer. The question is what qualifies as a red light. I was not facing a red light at all, and there is a small island in between the right turn lane (the one I was in) and the lane with the traffic light. In reading some Department of Transportaion documents, it suggests that it should be treated as a yield. Can anyone confirm?

Absent a STOP or YIELD sign or some sign indicating that the signal does not apply to that lane, you must stop.
The island doesn't by itself change things.
